For summer days


600ml Milk, soy milk or almond milk
3 tbsp Bambu® Instant Coffee Substitute
1 tbsp Cane sugar


Mix well in a shaker.
Serve cold.

Bambu® Muffins

Makes 12 muffins

So simple but so tasty


200g Butter
200g Cane sugar
4 eggs Beaten until fluffy
Few drops Vanilla essence
4 tbsp Bambu® Instant Coffee Substitute
1 tbsp Cocoa powder, add and mix well
1 tsp Baking powder
200g Flour, folded in


Pour the mixture into greased muffin tins and bake in the centre of the oven at 180-200°C for approximately 20 minutes. To decorate, dust with icing sugar.

Bambu® Cappuccino

Makes 4 cups



2 tsp Bambu® Instant Coffee Substitute
400ml Hot water
300ml Warmed milk
½ tsp Cinnamon or chocolate


Fill 4 large coffee cups half full with 400ml of Bambu® Instant Coffee Substitute.
Whip 300ml of warmed milk until it becomes a fluffy foam.
Sprinkle ½ teaspoonful of cinnamon or chocolate.

Bambu® Toffee Cheesecake

Makes 1 cheesecake

Decadently delicious


½ pk Digestive biscuits, crushed
1.8kg Butter, melted
Mix together.
Press crumbs into a 7 to 8 inch (approx. 20cm) baking tray, and chill.
115g Castor sugar
115g Cream cheese
7g Bambu® Instant Coffee Substitute
Cream above ingredients together.
 230ml  Double cream
 2  Toffee yoghurts
Whip up and fold in these ingredients in a separate bowl.


Combine mixture from both bowls and spread on top of the crumbs.
Sprinkle top with sieved drinking chocolate, then chill.
To serve, cut with a knife dipped in boiling water.

Makes 1 cup

Taste sensation


120ml Hot water
1 tbsp Bambu® Instant Coffee Substitute
1 tbsp Brown sugar
 120ml  Almond milk


In a cup, combine dry ingredients.
Add hot water and almond milk while stirring.

Bambu® Bites

Makes 20 biscuits

Simple & tasty


150g Ground hazelnuts
300g Cane sugar
3 Egg whites
10g Bambu® Instant Coffee Substitute (3 heaped tbsp)


Mix all ingredients together and beat for 5 minutes.
Transfer the mixture to a piping bag and pipe out in small amounts.
Leave standing at room temperature for one day.
After 1 day, bake for 9 to 10 minutes at 210°C.
